We will be digging in deep into the Legends & Lore of the Ivy League with Matt Robinson (Penn ’96), author of Lions, Tigers, and…Bulldogs? An unofficial guide to the legends and lore of the Ivy League (www.lionstigersbulldogs.com).
Lions, Tigers, and...Bulldogs? is a fun and fact-filled introduction to the rich heritage behind our nation’s most prestigious universities.
Matt will be taking us through highlights of his book that includes interesting anecdotes, vivid illustrations and a fascinating history as well as answering your questions.

Matt Robinson (Penn '96) has long had a (harmless) "thing" for mascots. As a child, Matt went to many football games at his father's alma mater, Brown University, where he quickly fell in love with the famous Brown Bear. Since graduating from Penn (where Matt wrote halftime shows for the band and spent time with Penn's mascot, the Fighting Quaker), Matt has been an English teacher, boxing coach, and professional writer who has published over 5,000 pieces in more than 250 international publications. He also writes, edits, and handles communications for individuals and institutions around the world.
