Columbia @ Home Series | Family Science Q&A

Alumni and their families are invited to an exclusive Q&A with Robert Frawley ’10SEAS, lead scientist at BioBus.

BioBus is dedicated to evening the playing field of academic science by removing barriers to access and celebrating young women and students of color in their scientific pursuits in West Harlem. Through this work, BioBus envisions a world where all people have the opportunity to reach their full scientific potential.

Frawley will talk about his career path, including how he came to study biomedical engineering, biophysics, and physiology, and then got involved in science outreach.

The event will feature microscopes and clips of the virtual science programs BioBus has been offering since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, including Student Town Halls, to keep the community engaged in science.
